Cambridge Lunch - 7th September 2005

The Cambridge Lunch was kindly hosted by Rosemary Hayes in her wonderful house and garden in Ickleton.

Our 'pot luck' lunch assembled a vast selection of quiches, one of the more unusual quirks of the 'pot luck' philosophy.  However, they were all delicious and several members were spotted going back for seconds. There was also a good showing of salads, crisps and potatoes, plus plenty of deserts, from fruit salad to pavlova, including a daring but delicious chocolate courgette cake.

There was plenty of interesting conversation too, from painting techniques to fishing trawlers, as well as talk about books and writing.
