Membership Criteria
To join East Anglian Writers you must be a professional writer or illustrator living in Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire, or Bedfordshire.
You must provide details and ISBN numbers of published work, or evidence of sustained journalism or of performed or broadcast plays. Applications from illustrators follow a similar criteria. Your application will be considered by the committee. We are affiliated to the Society of Authors but do not require membership of S of A to join East Anglian Writers. Currently there is a life membership joining fee of £10. There are no annual subscriptions, although the constitution allows for their introduction should it become necessary. All events and activities are priced individually. If your application is successful you will then be required to post a cheque for the £10 fee made payable to East Anglian Writers .
