Have you ever seen a singing pat of butter? Or a starlit sky dancing with the moon? If not, be sure to book for Long Nose Puppets’ production of Pat-a-Cake Baby at Norwich Puppet Theatre on Sunday 15 October.
Long Nose is a prize-winning company founded by Polly Dunbar and Katherine Morton. It has performed at 10 Downing Street and The National Gallery and won first prize with its first production at the Brighton Festival in 2006. Polly is the daughter of long-time EAW member Joyce Dunbar and lives in Beccles. The production is based on the book Pat-a-Cake Baby, written by Joyce and illustrated by Polly, which won the Mal Peet East Anglian Book Awards’ children’s category in 2015.
‘Cake mixing, baking and eating fuel this zingy, high-energy story as a restless baby sets about a night-time adventure’- The Guardian
