Biography

Peter W. Bodle was born in Bedford in 1944. He is a newcomer to the writing scene, having recently taken early retirement and emerged from a very successful career in industry as an inventor and designer of airliner safety systems. Although in retirement he still retains several directorships.

He presently lives with his wife Jane on the banks of the River Wissey at Stoke Ferry in West Norfolk. Collectively they have four children, five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

As a pilot, his interests in writing were naturally channelled in an aeronautical direction.

The Bomb Groups in Norfolk series is planned to be issued at a rate of three per year and is a continuous on-going project.

The follow up to the Mosquito to Berlin biography is a further RAF biography now nearing completion; provisionally titled ‘A Navigators Tale’ it covers the biography of a RAF navigator involved with some of the first Air to Air refuelling with RAF jet aircraft.
