Biography
Born in l943 at Hampton Court, Rachel Anderson worked in radio,
newspaper and magazine journalism for 20 years. Her first books were
for adults. Later, she graduated to writing for younger readers.
Many of her stories are for or about children challenged by their
learning difficulties, an involvement provoked by the handicap of
one of her sons. She has contributed numerous short stories to
anthologies and collections. She is married to David Bradby, a
theatre studies prof. at London University. They have a diversity of
children and grandchildren.
