Biography
Sarah
Passingham’s four classic texts on charity fundraising and law were
published by The Directory of Social Change between 1993 and 2003. She
won the South Eastern Writers Association, Julia Fitzgerald Award for
Short Fiction 1995 and wrote The Star of Bethlehem, a community play
performed for the Millennium.
In 1998 she began researching and translating the medieval text, The
Revelations of Divine Love by Julian of Norwich, and in 1999 wrote the
libretto for an oratorio Julian - Mystical Revelations, music by Roger
Mayor, released on CD 2002 and premiered in Norwich Cathedral, November
2005.
In 2005 she had her first story for radio broadcast by the BBC and The
Engineer's Daughter published in The London Magazine. She is a director
of the SAW (Science, Art and Writing) Trust and is currently working on
fiction and creative non-fiction.
